Ziwiyeh Zone Project. Italian – Iranian Join Project in Ziwiye Archaeological Zone

1. Multi-year program for the rehabilitation and enhancement of the archaeological heritage of the region and in particular of the site of Ziwiye using the international experience of the Italian Team.

      3. Preservation and restoration program at the site
      4. 3d documentation and reconstruction of the site
      5. Restoration of artifacts
      6. Visitor program and paneling of the site
2. Scientific program focusing on a better understanding of the Mannean kingdom and its archaeological evidence.
   1. 1. Intensive Survey on the site of Ziwiye
      2. regional survey in the two valleys geographically related with the site of Ziwiye

3. stratigraphic excavations through limited soundings to better understand the material culture of nearby sites such as Qaplantu and Sahib (this would allow to set up a local sequence of material culture and to collect 14C samples to be analyzed during the program)
