AIWA - Archaeology in Western Asia

Archaeology in Western Asia includes the archaeological activities of the University of Florence conducted in Western Asia. The projects range from excavations, surveys, museum restoration, and cultural material studies. These projects involve professors, external collaborators, research fellows, and students of the SAGAS department with the aim of combining research and teaching activities. The research is coordinated by the laboratory of Ancient Near East Archaeology based in the SAGAS department.
